Dearness Allowance
- It is granted to compensate the increase in prices in the market {115.76 Points( Base year 2001=100)} to which the revised pay scale relate .
- It is granted twice a year payable from 1st January and 1st July
- DA is paid on Basic pay + Grade Pay + NPA (where applicable) and on Transportation allowance.
